Every month we hear of murders taking place around the world. Late last year there were over 20 kids killed in Sandy Hook. The previous year there was the  incident in Norway where another gunman went on a wild rampage killing over 60 children.

There seems to be 4 different areas that kids need to understand more about.

Mental Health
Video Games
School Safety
Gun Control

All of these are intertwined together very closely. We have to explain to children why these murders take place. Richard Rende in Parents.com does a good job of explaining the connection between all four.
